HORIZON MATH OLYMPIAD
The Horizon Math Olympiad is a thrilling intellectual challenge designed to inspire and empower young problem-solvers. Open to students from Grades 3 to 12, this competition goes beyond equations and formulas, encouraging participants to explore the more profound beauty of mathematics and its role in shaping our understanding of the world.
The Olympiad tests mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving skills through carefully crafted questions. Participants are encouraged to push their boundaries, think creatively, and discover innovative solutions that transcend traditional approaches. Whether unraveling complex puzzles or applying concepts to practical scenarios, the Horizon Math Olympiad competition ignites curiosity and fosters a lifelong appreciation for the power of numbers.
Eligibility and Categories
The competition is open to students from Grades 3 to 12, divided into the following categories:
Qualification Round
Number of Questions: 20 multiple-choice questions
Duration: 60 minutes
Language: English
Mode: Online examination
All participants receive a Certificate of Participation.
Scoring
Correct Answer: 5 points
Five Incorrect Answers: 0 points
Unanswered: 0 points
Participants scoring at least 35% in the Qualification Round are eligible for the Global Round.
Registration and Fees
Registration: Online via the Horizon Olympiad website or via official representatives in their respective countries.
Fee: $20 per participant

The Global Round of the Horizon Mathematics Olympiad brings together the brightest young minds worldwide for an unforgettable experience of challenge and discovery.

Registration for Global Round:
Qualifiers from the Qualification Round must register again for the Global Round through the official website or country representatives, providing essential travel documentation as part of their application.
Exam Details:
Format: 20 multiple-choice questions.

Recognition:
The Global Round medals will be awarded based on the following percentages:
Gold: Top 15%
Silver: Next 16–30%
Bronze: Next 31–65%
Honorable Mention: Next 66–75%
Awards
Provided they meet all other eligibility criteria, the top-performing students in each category will receive awards and may qualify for special discounts to participate in the Global Final Program in New York, USA.
