The Horizon Natural Science Olympiad is an exciting exploration of the natural world, designed to ignite curiosity, scientific thinking, and discovery in young learners. Open to students from Grades 3 to 12, this competition goes beyond memorization of facts—it challenges participants to understand, analyze, and apply scientific concepts that explain the world around us.
The Olympiad tests scientific reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through thoughtfully designed multiple-choice questions. Participants will explore topics across physics, chemistry, biology, and earth science—encouraging them to connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications. The Horizon Natural Science Olympiad inspires creativity, innovation, and a lifelong passion for discovery.
The competition is open to students from Grades 3 to 12, divided into the following categories:
Category 1: Grades 3–4
Category 2: Grades 5–6
Category 3: Grades 7–8
Category 4: Grades 9–10
Category 5: Grades 11–12

Participants scoring at least 35% in the Qualification Round are eligible for the Global Round.

The Global Round of the Horizon Natural Science Olympiad brings together outstanding young scientists from around the world to showcase their knowledge, curiosity, and creativity in a stimulating international competition.

Global Round medals will be awarded based on the following percentages:
Gold: Top 15%
Silver: Next 16–30%
Bronze: Next 31–65%
Honorable Mention: Next 66–75%
Top-performing students in each category will receive awards and may qualify for special discounts to participate in the Global Final Program in New York, USA, provided they meet all other eligibility requirements.
